Hearing Silence has just won the Signal Film Festival - horray!
Hearing Silence won an ICCL Human Rights Film Award. Thank you! Here is filmmaker Ken Wardrop handing Hilary her prize.
Past Screenings:
Elizabeth and Mircea travelled to Romania where Hearing Silence was screened as part of a the Ziele Filmului Irlandez in Bucharest. They even got to give a performance!
And, Hearing Silence was selected to be shown as part of the International Docurama, a newly inaugurated section at the 30th Uppsala International Short Film Festival. The strand was made up of 15 of this year’s best documentaries from around the world

Jameson International Dublin Film Festival - 4.00pm, Saturday 13 February 2011, at the Irish Film Institute.
Cork Film Festival - Directed and written by Hilary Fennell, produced by Wildfire Films . The film was made as part of the Irish Film Board's 'Reality Bites' fund for short documentaries. The film premiered at the Cork Film Festival in November 2010 in the Opera House, to a great reception and lots of positive feedback.
